At the meeting of the Rietondale Home owners and Residents association on Thursday, 12 June 2008, all members present supported the proposal to investigate establishing Rietondale as a CID (City Improvement District). This has to be done in accordance with the Gauteng City Improvement Districts Act no 12 of 1997. RHOARA will have to register as a Section 21 company (a non-profit company). Registering as a CID will enable the area to fund services in addition to those that the municipality ordinarily provides. Information on the CID will be posted on rietondale.net as it becomes available.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE

GPS noticed a blue Mazda (CYK094MP), driven by 3 black men, in our area that looked suspicious and contacted the Police. The Police came immediately as they are looking for this vehicle and men in connection with various crimes committed in the Moot, unfortunately they got away. Please phone the GPS car immediately if seen.
